If you’re anything like me, sitting on the couch watching dance shows like Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and World of Dance, is all you need to appreciate beautiful dancing. And while it’s easy to sit back and admire those dancers, what I find just as exciting to watch is the change that happens to people who start to dance. I’ve seen people get up on the dance floor who were unable to walk only weeks ago, others who suffered from social anxiety being acclimated into society through dance, as well as people with major health issues become the most athletic version of themselves. Sure, the finished product is fun to watch, but so too is the journey that dancing can take you through. So if you haven’t taken the opportunity to see how dancing can change your life, now may be the right time to get off the couch and find out for yourself.
