Medal Ball Is Upon Us!

Medal Ball is coming up so quickly! This Sunday no less (December 2nd). It is a perfect time to celebrate your own accomplishments as well as those of your fellow students, while getting some extra floor time and great feedback from the judges.

Speaking of judges, we’re going to be having Jessica Holty and Natalia Stantcheva, two incredible guest judges/consultants at the event to watch your dancing, give you useful feedback, and provide in-person feedback the week after during your Medal Ball consultations.

For those of you who are newer to Medal Ball, check out this video to get a preview of what’s in store for you.

And for you seasoned pros, here are Jessica’s top three benefits you may not realize you get, merely by showing up and participating!

  1. Preparing for a checkout really helps to solidify your dance knowledge so that you have more confidence when you want to get out and use your skills
  2. Getting feedback after the accomplishment of checking out, helps set you on the best path to taking your dancing to the next level. The feedback will help you know what the most important thing or things are to focus on next.
  3. By getting out and demonstrating the level you checked out of either in solo or group format, you are helping inspire other dancers as a role model for what they can achieve in their dancing. By watching higher level students do the same, you can see what you can achieve as well.
