Thanksgiving Happened. Now What?

You’ve just splurged at Thanksgiving and staying in for the rest of the month is starting to sound really good. Here are a few reasons to get you out of the house.

Get away from those calorie-laden leftovers

  • We all have them: that extra slice of pumpkin pie our aunt sent home with us, leftover Halloween candy, or the handful of cookies the party’s host begged you to take. With temptation a room away, spare yourself by getting out the house and have fun in the process!

Touch base with the outside world

  • Living like a hermit requires no effort, it’s true, but every now and then it’s good to check in with the rest of the world. See a smiling face. Dance to some music. Have a few laughs. Sounds pretty nice, right?

Burn off that extra helping of [insert your favorite food]

  • You don’t have to admit it out loud, but with all those awesome side dishes, we all know you took a little extra of something. But don’t fret! Dance will help you burn it off in no time!

Develop a good habit for upcoming holidays

  • With more holidays on the horizon, it can be easy to hunker down and hope for the best. Why not try doing something for yourself? Getting out to learn something will challenge your status quo, help you switch things up, and give you a bit more work-holiday-life balance.

Whatever you decide, know that ballroom dance is a phone call away or a short drive. And if you think about it, what’s the worst that could happen? You learn a few dance moves, meet some new people, and have something to talk about at the next holiday party? Sounds pretty sweet to me.
